I am lost for words

First, the facts: Victoria Police attempted to stop a 32 year old male on a motorcycle.  The reasons for this are unknown to the public.  He refused to stop, refused to obey police instructions.  The reasons for this are unknown.  He took off, and police pursued him, at speeds up to 170km/h, before the police pursuit was called off.  Some time later (minutes in one report), the motorcyclist crashed, and today died from his injuries.  Here end the facts, and here begins ... well you can read for yourself.
